One-third of all enemy attacks target Pokrovsk area – Ukraine’s General Staff update

Russian forces continue to use aviation and artillery in the border areas of the Sumy region, targeting communites of Fotovyzh, Stara Huta, Novooleksandrivka, and Druzhba. Bachevsk was hit by multiple rocket launcher fire, while airstrikes targeted the areas near Stepok, Myropillia, Mala Rybytsia, Kyianytsia, and Krasnopillia.

In the Kharkiv region, Russian troops launched eight assaults near Vovchansk and Lyptsi, with the fighting still ongoing.

In the Kupiansk area, the enemy attacked  seven times near Hlushkivka, Kruhliakivka, and Andriivka, with an ongoing assault on Lozova. Two airstrikes were reported near Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi.

In the Lyman area, six clashes occurred near Makiivka, Nevske, and Torske. The enemy also launched bomb strikes on Osynove, Druzelubiivka, and Serebrianka, using eight guided bombs.

In the Siversk area, seven enemy attacks were repelled near Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, and Pereizne.

In the Kramatorsk area, Russian forces attempted three assaults near Hryhorivka and Chasiv Yar, with two attacks still ongoing.

In the Toretsk area, the number of attacks increased to eight, as the enemy is ramping up their assault near Toretsk and Bila Hora, where two assaults are being repelled. Attacks were repelled near New York, Zalizne, and Nelipivka while Toretsk is dealing with bombardments.

In the Pokrovske area , the enemy launched 23 attacks, 17 of which were repelled, while six are ongoing. Oleksandropil endured three airstrikes with unguided rockets.

In the Kurakhove area, nine attacks were recorded near Krasnohorivka and Heorhiivka, while an unguided rocket strike targeted Oleksandrivka.

In the Vremivka area, one attack on Kostyantynivka was repelled while Vuhledar and Novodonetske faced unguided rocket fire coming from Russian Ka-52 helicopters.

Two attacks were repelled in the Orikhiv and Prydniprovske directions, with no significant changes reported in other directions.
