Over 70% of сars imported to Ukraine in 2024 are used

In the first seven months of 2024, Ukraine imported over 228,000 cars, which marks  a 14.2% increase from last year. The report by Opendatabot found that  71% of these vehicles were used, with an average age of 9 years. Among the used cars, with 42% of all the imported cars are older than 10 years.

Kyiv saw the highest number of newly imported cars registered, accounting for 13.7% of the total, followed by Lviv region at 10.2% and Odesa region at 7.4%.

The most sought-after brands are  Volkswagen with 25,498 cars (11.2%), Renault with 17,479 cars (7.7%), and Audi with 13,173 cars (5.8%).
