During the night, Russian military targeted the territory of Ukraine with a massive missile and drone attack.

Ukraine’s energy minister stated this was one of the most massive attacks on country’s power system.

He stated that the goal was not just to cause damage, but to try again, like last year, to cause a large-scale failure of the country’s energy system.

The minister reported strikes on generation and distribution facilities in different regions of Ukraine.

As reported by the Air Force, the invaders launched 151 missiles of different types and attack drones. The Ukrainian air defense managed to intercept 55 enemy drones and 37 missiles.

The strikes caused civilian casualties in different regions of the country.

Emergency outages were also reported in Sumy, Poltava, Donetsk, and Odesa regions. In Kharkiv, 700 thousand people are left without electricity.
