MP Oleksii Honcharenko, who heads the Committee on Migration, Refugees and Displaced Persons of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, announced that funds will be paid to Ukrainians upon their return to the homeland.

After the end of the war, those Ukrainians who will be returning to Ukraine will receive financial support from the European countries.

‘After the end of hostilities, Ukrainians who will return to live in Ukraine will be able to receive financial assistance from European countries,’ Honcharenko wrote.

He added that this decision is ‘very important’ and is included in the report currently being prepared by the PACE Migration Committee regarding Ukraine.
