Part of Kherson left without power after Russian attack on critical infrastructure

The city of Kherson has been partially left without electricity following a Russian attack on a critical infrastructure facility on Friday.

Kherson governor Oleksandr Prokudin, reported that energy workers are currently working on the scene trying to restore power.

Over the past day, Russian forces shelled several communities in the Kherson region. The attacks targeted critical infrastructure, a shopping center, educational and medical institutions, churches, administrative buildings, and a restaurant. Residential areas were also hit, including seven apartment buildings and 36 private homes. Additionally, the shelling damaged a water pipeline, outbuildings, a garage, private vehicles, and agricultural equipment.

The recent barrages killed one person and left at least 18 more injured.

Five armored vehicles “Kozak” have received a new mission – thanks to the support of Metinvest, they have been upgraded to full-fledged command and staff vehicles. These upgraded vehicles are now operating on the front line.
