The former president of Ukraine and leader of the ‘European Solidarity’ party Petro Poroshenko stated on Telegram that the border guards do not allow him to leave the country.

According to Poroshenko, he is going to have a number of meetings in Poland and the USA.

The former president said that his trip abroad was approved by the head of the Ukrainian parliament.

‘I have a business trip signed by the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, but the border guards did not let me through. I am far from thinking that the border guards acted on their own initiative. Everyone can guess who canceled the document signed by the speaker of the parliament.’ Poroshenko wrote.

In Poland, the former president had to take part in the negotiations to end the blockade of Ukrainian carriers.

In the USA, Poroshenko planned to discuss the financial help to Ukraine with different political figures, including Speaker of the US House of Representatives Mike Johnson.
