Polish defense minister and deputy prime minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz has complained Ukrainians have a ‘short memory’ forgeting about how much Poland has done for them aiding in their war against Russia.

During his meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, Kosiniak-Kamysz could hardly hold back his disappointment over recent bitter remarks by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who suggested Poland was not doing everything it could.

“One cannot claim Poland isn’t doing enough. Poland has done, and continues to do, everything within its capacity. However, there’s a limit I will never cross. That limit is the security of the Polish state. If providing certain equipment endangers Poland’s safety, I simply won’t give it away,” he asserted.

The minister also accused Zelenskyy of trying to “draw other nations in direct participation in the conflict” with Russia.

Kosiniak-Kamysz said that discussions with NATO Secretary General touched on the possibility of a collective Alliance response to intercept Russian missiles. “Such action would require a joint NATO decision, and as of now, no such decision exists,” he added.
