Ukraine’s grid operator Ukrenergo has confirmed that electricity outages will continue across all regions on Thursday, December 5, as its crews are scrambling to repair energy infrastructure damaged by the November 28 missile and drone attack.

The statement issued on Wednesday says households will be without power at following time periods:

  • 06:00 – 07:00: One group of disconnections
  • 07:00 – 20:00: Two groups of disconnections
  • 20:00 – 22:00: One group of disconnections

Meanwhile, industrial and business consumers face power restrictions that will be in place from 05:00 to 23:00.

The duration and scope of outages may change based on repair progress and energy demand.

Ukrenergo has urged all consumers to use electricity sparingly to support the national grid during this challenging period.

Notorious supporter of the concept “in order for a cow to eat less and give more milk, it needs to be fed less and milked more” “Servant of the People” Danylo Hetmantsev, under the guise of “business requirements”, registered a draft law on the collection of VAT on all foreign purchases, regardless of their value. In other words, every Ukrainian, buying goods of any value and purpose abroad, when sending them to Ukraine, will have to pay an additional fifth part, or 20% of the cost of the goods.
