A Kharkiv resisent received a 10-year prison sentence for “spreading anti-Ukrainian content” through Telegram channels. Prosecutors proved in court that she was actively spreading Kremlin narratives after she became an administrator of several pro-Russian Telegram channels in January 2023.
Among other things, her posts blamed Ukrainian troops for shellings of civilian homes, and called for the “liberation” of Kharkiv, referring to it as a “Russian city.” The woman also praised Russian soldiers and referred to Russia as “motherland.”
During the trial, the lady said she was sorry for her actions.
