Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Andrii Kostin took part in the Peace Summit in Switzerland.

The Prosecutor noted that the world should hear the stories of Ukrainians who survived the Russian war crimes in order to understand the gravity of these acts, which the aggressor country commits every day in Ukraine.

‘To date, we have documented almost 130,000 war crimes. This means an average of 150 crimes per day. Every 10 minutes, the Russian Federation commits a crime against Ukraine and Ukrainians. I sincerely hope that this Summit will strengthen the efforts of the world community to stop these atrocities,’ Kostin said.

The Prosecutor General is convinced that if politicians and other influential people more often found the courage to communicate with the victims of war crimes, the decisions necessary to save lives would be made much more quickly.
