Russia strikes Sumy overnight: residents urged to stay indoors

In the early hours of August 30th, Russian forces launched an attack on the city of Sumy, targeting civilian infrastructure. The stike caused a massive fire with heavy smoke blanketing several neighborhoods.

The situation prompted local authorities to advise residents to tightly seal their windows and doors and to stay indoors if possible until the fire is fully extinguished.

Initial reports suggest there are casualties as a result of the attack.
