Russian airstrike targets Sumy region, kills siblings aged 6 and 23

On Thursday, Russian forces launched an airstrike targeting civilian infrastructure in the Yunakivka community of the Sumy district. According to reports, the attack struck a schoolyard in Mogrytsya, killing a 6-year-old girl and her 22-year-old brother.
Officials are currently working on the scene documenting the crime. Meanwhile, the local prosecutors’ office launched a preliminary investigation into violations of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Article 438, Part 2 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code).
