Khmelnytskyi woke up to the sounds of explosions overnight on September 11 after Russian drones targeted the southeast region of Ukraine.  Ukraine’s air defenses said they shot down 10 drones.  The drone remains, though, caused a fire at a furniture storage facility, according to Serhiy Tyurin, head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration.

Firefighters from the State Emergency Service are currently trying to contain the blaze. The extent of the damage and information about potential casualties have not yet been disclosed.

Throughout the last night, Russian forces launched at least 70 air targets—missiles and drones—at Ukraine. A significant number of drones were intercepted, with air defense forces managing to destroy 44 of them.
