Russian pilot leaks colleagues’ documents after strike on children’s hospital in Kyiv

Ukraine’s Military Intelligence Directorate was quietly approached by a military pilot from Russia’s 22nd Heavy Bombardment Aviation Division listed as military unit 06987, soon after a missile strike on the “Okhmatdyt” children’s hospital in Kyiv, according to a Informational Resistance report.
“Appalled” by the violent attack, the pilot reportedly offered the Ukrainian intelligence the documents on his unit’s activities along with the personal photos of the officers serving in the 22nd Heavy Bombardment Aviation Division.
The leaked documents include personnel files of the senior officers and their familis, as well as classified documents of the 22nd Heavy Bombardment Aviation Division.
“We hope to release some of these documents soon. Today, we are publishing private photos from the party celebrating Colonel Ilya Koryakin’s promotion to to chief of staff of the 22nd Heavy Bombardment Aviation Division. Celebrated at the ‘Naples’ restaurant in Engels, the event brought together 30 command staff members from the division of the long-range aviation command of the Russian Aerospace Forces,” said the report.
Amendments to Ukraine’s enforcement proceedings legislation, initiated by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, have entered into force.
