The Security Service of Ukraine detained a Russian agent who was spying on the location and movement of Ukrainian warships.

He was especially interested in the information on bases and routes of going to the open sea of armored artillery boats of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In order to gather intelligence, the agent acted under the guise of a long-distance truck driver who carries out interregional freight transportation.

While driving a truck, he entered the territory of the ports to receive commercial cargo, but at the same time he tried to covertly record the geolocations of the ships of the Armed Forces.

The SBU continues investigation into the case. The man may face life imprisonment.
