The brutal assault on Zaporizhzhia has left five people injured in the early hours of September 23, according to the head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene to provide victims with all necessary aid.

The attack didn’t just stop at injuries. The strike wreaked havoc on several buildings with the shockwave and debris tearing through structures and setting off a raging fire.

Fedorov said that firefighters are battling the blaze and sifting through the wreckage as more details continue to emerge.

This fresh attack comes just days after the Russian military hit Zaporizhzhia District on September 19 with guided aerial bombs. That strike claimed one life and left two more people wounded.
