SBU exposed Russian agents who pinpointed missile attacks on Donetsk region

In Donetsk region, the Security Service of Ukraine has detained six Russian agents who pinpointed a double missile attack on the apartment block in Pokrovsk.

According to the investigation, on August 7, 2023, the Russian military hit with Iskander missiles the apartment block in the town of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region.

The second missile hit the area after the emergency started the search and rescue operation on the site of the first strike.

In addition, the agents collected intelligence on the location of the Ukrainian forces in Avdiivka direction.

All detainees acted separately but had the same supervisor from the Russian special services. The SBU continues the investigation under the article of high treason. The agents may face life imprisonment.
