Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, the head of the Ukrenergo board, warned that on June 5, the scheduled outages may be longer due to a significant deficit in the energy system.
Kudrytsky noted that the electricity consumption limits are in force in all regions.
If they are exceeded, emergency outages are introduced in the region.
However, Kudrytskyi emphasized, even without emergency shutdowns, scheduled power outages today may be longer due to a significant shortage of electricity.
The outages may last four hours or even longer depending on the situation in the Ukrainian energy system.
