The most massive attack: 158 missiles and drones launched by Russia during the night

On December 29, the Russian military carried out the most massive air attack on Ukraine, launching 158 missiles and drones. Most of them were shot down.

At first, Russians attacked Ukraine with 36 Shahed UAVs from the north and southeast, with further movement to the west.

At about 3 am, the enemy attacked with the use of Tu-95MS bombers. 18 aircraft launched at least 90 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles.

From Kursk region around 5 am, Tu-22M3 long-range bombers launched 8 Kh-22/Kh-32 cruise missiles in the direction of the northern and central Ukrainian regions.

At the same time, Russians launched at least 14 S-300/S-400/Iskander ballistic missiles from the occupied Crimea, Kursk and Belgorod regions.

At about 6:30 am, 5 MiG-31 jets launched 5 Kinzhal missiles. In addition, the enemy fired 4 Kh-31P anti-radar missiles and one Kh-59 missile.

The Ukrainian air defense managed to destroy 27 drones and 87 cruise missiles.
