On April 28, in the evening video address, president Volodymyr Zelensky said that the ‘path to a just peace’ could begin in June during the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland.
Zelensky noted that the Ukrainian side continues to prepare for the inaugural Peace Summit in June.The teams of key partners are working together with Ukraine to make the Summit truly global.
The president also said that all continents and different views on global issues will be represented at the summit.
He added that all parties are united by the recognition of the UN Charter and basic international conventions.
Zelensky emphasized that the world majority should ‘force Russia to make peace and can do it’.
In addition, the president reminded that Ukraine is also preparing for the NATO summit, which will take place this summer.
