The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, commented on the process of mobilization in Ukraine, noting that ‘there is no demobilization’ during the war.

According to the president, there was a lot of misinformation around the mobilization in Ukraine.

He added that the mobilization process has been going on since the beginning of the full-scale war.

‘This is a prolongation of the relevant decision in the parliament in accordance with our legislation,’ he explained.

At the same time, the president noted that the mobilization process in Ukraine is not ideal, as the current law on mobilization was adopted in peacetime.

Zelensky reminded that currently Ukrainian MPs are working on improving the law and it has already been adopted in the first reading.

He added that the military wants an answer on what can be improved in the law on mobilization, and the legislators want to see what the consequences will be for certain sections of society.

The new facility, funded by Metinvest with an investment of UAH 21 million, is more secure than the first one thanks to its deeper location underground (over 6 meters) and additional fortifications.
