TV Marathon has received UAH 894 million from state budget this year, – MP Zhelezniak

Member of parliament Yaroslav Zhelezniak stated that since the beginning of the year, 894 million hryvnias have been allocated from the state budget for the TV marathon.
Yesterday, he informed about the sum of UAH 790 million from the country budget.
‘We decided to see how much the PR of the government costs for the state. So, from the beginning of 2024, it has been already more than UAH 790 million. This is the total amount of 10 contracts for the creation of the content of the marathon ‘United news’ and FREEDOM’, the MP wrote.
Today Yaroslav Zheleznyak noted that yesterday’s data about 790 million hryvnias were only figures for orders from the ‘Multimedia Platform’.
In addition, the state budget finances Rada TV channel, which has received 104 million hryvnias this year.
