Ukraine allocates 190 million hryvnias to preserve soldiers’ reproductive cells in 2025

The Ukrainian budget for 2025 earmarked 190 million hryvnias  for a program to help preserve the reproductive cells of military personnel, according to the country’s health minister  Viktor Liashko.

He said the program will come into effect on January 1, 2025.

“The process for utilizing these funds will be detailed after budget approval, but the sum has already been allocated,” added the minister.

The program will be jointly administered by the Ministry of Health and the National Health Service of Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s financial plan has also included a separate program for dental treatment and prosthetics for military personnel, with ₴750 million allocated for 2025.
