The Ukrainian and Bulgarian agriculture ministers agreed on the procedure for the export of certain types of agricultural products.
In particular, they agreed on the procedure for the export of rapeseed, corn, wheat and sunflower.
This procedure provides for the issuance of licenses after bilateral consultations. The parties also agreed to carefully monitor the movement of agricultural products.
‘This is very important for supporting the Ukrainian economy right now, when part of the traditional routes for Ukrainian exports are blocked. The government is ready for further joint work with the EU regarding the full settlement of the export of domestic agricultural products through the territory of neighboring countries,’ – said Yulia Svyrydenko, the minister of economy.
According to the government officials, the Ukrainian exporters can start applying for the relevant licenses.
‘Now it is important for us to use all opportunities to export agricultural products. The Bulgarian government cancelled the restrictions and supported our action plan for the export of certain types of agricultural products,’ added Mykola Solskyi, Ukraine’s agriculture minister.
