Ukraine and Norway finalized the text of the security agreement

The representatives of Ukraine and Norway have completed work on the text of the agreement on security guarantees.
The parties plan to sign the document ‘at the earliest opportunity’, president Volodymyr Zelensky stated.
During a telephone conversation with the Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store, Zelensky expressed gratitude for ‘his concrete efforts to isolate Russia’. The parties also discussed the situation on the battlefield and defense cooperation between the countries.
On July 12, at the NATO summit in Vilnius, the G7 countries agreed on a joint declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine.
The G7 leaders noted that other countries wishing to contribute to these efforts aimed at ensuring a free, strong, independent and sovereign Ukraine can join the Declaration at any time.
