Ukraine and Romania are working on the project of launching two new cargo checkpoints on the common border.
Representatives of the Restoration Agency and the State Customs Service of Ukraine discussed the development of these checkpoints with Romania’s ambassador to Ukraine Alexandru Victor Micula.
Currently, there are two checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Romanian border – in Zakarpatska and Chernivtsi regions.
In the conditions of war, the cargo checkpoints became of crucial importance for Ukraine’s exports and imports, the restoration agency stressed.
