Ukraine commemorates Heavenly Hundred

On February 18, a memorial march was held in Kyiv to mark the 10th anniversary of the shootings on the Maidan.

The event was organized by the NGO ‘Families of the Heavenly Hundred’, the National Museum of the Revolution of Dignity, and participants of the Revolution of Dignity.

The participants of the Revolution of Dignity, who were killed by the security officers and their mercenaries, received a name of the Heavenly Hundred.

They were people of different nationalities, age groups, gender, and education background, from various regions of Ukraine and from abroad.

As a result of the mass confrontation on the Maidan in Kyiv on February 18-20, 2014, 107 protesters and 13 policemen died.
