Ukraine had another rough night on November 27 after Russia launched 89 drones across the country. The drones came in waves from several directions, including Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
Ukraine’s air defenses said it shot down 36 drones, while electronic interference disrupted 48 more, causing them to lose location tracking. Five mrones drones went astray and ended up in Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine’s occupied territories.
Drones were intercepted in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Mykolaiv regions. Falling debris from the drones caused damage to private and residential properties in Kyiv Oblast, though initial reports indicate no casualties or injuries.
Ukraine’s response involved aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems, and mobile fire teams from the Air Force and Defense Forces, highlighting a coordinated effort to repel the assault.
