Ukraine in top three of the Open Data Maturity European ranking

According to the results of Open Data Maturity 2023, Ukraine is the third country in Europe in terms of open data development.
The research included 35 European countries. Ukraine took third place after France and Poland.
Despite the full-scale war, Ukraine entered the top three with the following scores: open data policy – 625, functioning of the open data portal data.gov.ua – 607, impact of open data – 600, and quality of open data – 611.
The open data maturity level in Ukraine is 96%, while the European average is 83%. It should be noted that for the first time Ukraine appeared in the Open Data Maturity rating in 2020 and was in 17th place.
‘Despite the full-scale war, we continue to work on the development of the field. It is important for us to remain leaders in data openness, setting international standards,’ said digital minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
