Ukraine plans to receive three IMF tranches worth USD 4.5 billion

In 2024, Ukraine expects to attract three more tranches of $4.5 billion under the IMF’s Extended Fund Facility program.
The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine held a working meeting with the leadership of the European Department of the International Monetary Fund and the IMF mission in Ukraine.
In addition to budgetary issues, including the implementation of the 2024 Budget and preparation for the 2025 budget process, the parties discussed preparations for the fourth revision of the IMF’s Extended Fund Facility program.
The total amount of the EFF program for 2023-2027 is USD 15.6 billion.The EFF is part of the package of international support for Ukraine, which currently amounts to about 122 billion US dollars.
First Deputy Minister of Finance Denys Uliutin expressed gratitude to the IMF for its timely support to Ukraine from the first days of the full-scale invasion and emphasized the importance of the continued functioning of the EFF program.
