Ukraine returned 90 servicemen from Russian captivity

On June 25, in a prisoner-of-war swap, Ukraine returned 90 people from the Russian captivity.

Among those who returned home, there are the defenders of Azovstal in Mariupol, servicemen of the Armed Force, National Guard and Border Guard.

In addition, there are people who were taken prisoners-of-war in the first days of the invasion at Chornobyl nuclear power plant.

As of now, Ukraine has managed to return from the Russian captivity 3,300 people.

Andrii Yermak thanked the United Arab Emirates for the facilitation of the swap. He also stated that the priority of the authorities is to return home all Ukrainians.
