Ukraine shoots down 29 drones in overnight attack

Ukrainian air defense forces intercepted 29 drones during an extensive Russian assault that came on the evening of December 3 and continued into the early hours of December 4.
Russia launched a multi-pronged offensive using a guided air-launched missile (Kh-59/69) fired from Kursk Oblast. and 50 drones that came from launch sites in Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Oryol, and Millerovo.
By morning, Ukrainian defenders had shot down 29 drones, while 18 were lost in flight, and more one went astray, into the occupied Ukrainian regions.
Ukraine’s Air Force relied on a coordinated effort of units from the Air Force, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare systems, and mobile fire teams of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Drones were intercepted in multiple regions, including Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Mykolaiv, and Donetsk.
