The NATO in Ukraine representation reported that Ukraine took part for the first time in the Locked Shields 2024 cyber security exercises, which took place in Tallinn.

More than 4,000 experts from more than 40 countries of the world took part in the training.

Locked Shields 2024 is said to be the world’s largest realistic cyber defense exercise, underscoring the global community’s commitment to countering cyber threats.

Organized by the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence, the annual exercise goes beyond traditional cyber training by bringing together experts from various fields to counter cyber threats.

‘These exercises are a demonstration of the power of international cooperation, crossing borders, bringing together a community of diverse experts from the public, private sectors and academics. We are grateful for the dedication and expertise of our allies and all of our partners, who are critical to building a resilient global cyber defense,’ said Urmet Tomp, the head of the exercises.
