Ukraine’s air defenses foil massive drone attack, shooting down 32 drones

Ukrainian air defenses said they successfully intercepted and destroyed all 32 drones launched by Russian forces in an overnight assault on July 5.
Launched from Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, the drones targeted multiple regions in Ukraine.
Drown downings were reported in Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Cherkasy. To foil the attack the Ukrainian army used a coordinated effort of its fighter jets, anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare units.
