Ukraine’s defense ministry will earmark an additional ₴1.1 billion for the purchase of drones, according to PM Denys Shmyhal.
The funds will go directly to military brigades, enabling them to address urgent drone requirements swiftly.
“This month, the Ministry of Defense will directly transfer ₴4.3 billion to military brigades. Over 11 months, such direct financing has totaled ₴27.2 billion,” added the prime minister.
He also revealed that the government has spent ₴229 billion over the past 10 months on military equipment, weapons, ammunition, defense products, personal protective gear, and food supplies for Ukraine’s security and defense forces.
