The Ukrainian government has approved an agreement with the Romanian government to construct a road border bridge over the Tysa River, according to Taras Melnychuk, the government’s permanent representative to the Verkhovna Rada.
The bridge is planned to span the Ukrainian-Romanian border, connecting the cities of Bila Tserkva (Ukraine) and Sighetu Marmației (Romania), Melnychuk noted.
It is worth noting the agreement for the construction of the 261-meter bridge over the Tysa River was greenlit in October 2023.
