The Special Operations Forces of Ukraine targeted the newest communication station of the Russian military.
The enemy digital radio relay station R-416ГМ was identified by the operators of the 3d regiment of Ukraine’s special forces.
The Russian Army adopted the use of R-416GM in 2018. The station helps improve the efficiency of radio communication on the battlefield.
The strike disrupted communication between the command headquarters and army units of the Russian invaders.
It is noted that this has been the first time during the war that the Ukrainian forces destroyed such a station.
