On Tuesday, the Ukrainian government has approved a new resolution that will allow soldiers to change the station of duty faster.  This new policy will operate through the “Army+” app.

To apply for a transfer, soldiers need a copy of their military ID (or officer’s ID) and a recommendation letter from the new brigade. For ranks up to sergeant, approval from the current commander is no longer required.

Applications will be reviewed within 72 hours, with soldiers receiving notification of the decision in the app. The defense ministry, all the rejected application should come with clear explanatory note while the military officials will review any refusals lacking sufficient grounds.

Transfers can get a green light once a year,  and only after six months of service in the current unit.

Ukraine’s defense ministry said it will control the new policy, which is scheduled for technical launch on November 15.
