On December 4, Ukraine’s deputy defense minister Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk said in an interview that the ministry will direct additional resources to the purchase of UAVs, especially of the tactical level.

The deputy minister hopes this will change the situation on the battlefield.

He added the ministry is also trying to increase the production of the electronic warfare equipment.

Currently, the Ukrainian Armed Forces use about 70 modifications of UAVs and more than 20 different types of ammunition for them. Recently, six new models of electronic warfare equipment were put into operation.
