Brigade commanders of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been ordered to setu up their own recruitment units to streamline the enlistment of new troops, after it was ordered by Ukraine’s commander-in-chief Oleksandr Syrskyi.

The order reads that the units will be ‘integrated into combat military formations to facilitate more effective volunteer recruitment efforts”.

Before the new policy introduction, such recruitment centers had worked only for the Ground Forces, Navy, Air Assault Forces, Special Operations Forces, and Territorial Defense.

It is worth noting that Ukrainian commanders have been authorized to enlist volunteers directly starting October 1, which means an army volunteer can skip a visit to territorial recruitment and social support center.
