Ukrainian General Staff reports 124 clashes in the past 24 Hours

In the last 24 hours, the Ukrainian General Staff has recorded 124 combat engagements across various fronts. The Russian troops launched 53 airstrikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, deploying 74 aerial bombs among other munitions. There were alos 4,890 artillery shellings, with 97 of these coming from rocket-propelled systems.

Notable airstrikes targeted Kruhliakivka and Lozova in the Kharkiv region, as well as Hryhorivka, Kurdiumivka, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, Trudove, Oleksandropil, Vozdvizhivka, Novohrodivka, Hrodivka, Katerynivka, Bohoyavlenka, and Vremivka in the Donetsk region. Airstrikes also hit Lobkove and Novodanilivka in Zaporizhzhia.

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation and missile troops, alongside artillery units, launched 14 strikes against enemy troop concentrations, destroying one artillery system and three command posts of Russian forces.

In the Kharkiv region, Russian forces continued their assault operations, with 11 combat engagements occurring near Hlyboke, Lyptsi, Tykhe, and Vovchansk.

The Kupiansk front saw an increase in fighting, with six clashes recorded. Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy assaults here at five different communities, as Russsian shifted focus on Petro Pavlivka, where two attacks were reported.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces successfully foiled eight enemy assaults in the areas of Makiivka, Terni, and Nevske.

The Severodonetsk sector dealt with eight attacks, primarily around Spirne, Verkhnokamianse, Pereizne, and Viyimka, with the latter seeing five of the attacks.

In the Kramatorsk area, Ukrainian troops thwarted 15 attempts by the enemy, with the main push coming at Chasiv Yar, which accounted for over half of all engagements. Other fighting locations included Ivanivske, Stupochky, Bila Hora, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka.

The Toretsk front witnessed 18 assaults, with the most intense fighting going on near New York and Toretsk, where 80% of all combat engagements were recorded. The enemy also shelled Zalizne and Pivnichne, and targeted Toretsk and its outskirts with 14 airstrikes.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 30 attacks, with the enemy concentrating efforts around Zelena and Novooleksandrivka.

The Kurakhove front saw continued resistance from Ukrainian forces in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Kostyantynivka, Paraskoviivka, and Karlivka. The enemy attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses 11 times.

In the Vremivka sector, there were six assaults on Ukrainian positions, three of which occurred near Vodiane.

The Orikhiv direction reported three combat engagements near Mala Tokmachka, with two additional attacks near Robotyne and Novodanilivka.

In the Dnipro region, Russian forces suffered losses in two engagements.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, there were no “signs of enemy formations preparing for offensive actions”. The operational situation remains largely unchanged.

Along the border with Chernihiv and Sumy Oblasts, the Russian troops maintain a visible military presence and continue to shell from the communities of Sopich, Bachivsk, Chuykivka, and Prohres.
