The community of the Ukrainian ‘Mediarukh’ called on the authorities to stop the pressure on Suspilne public broadcaster.
‘We, Ukrainian journalists, media and media organizations, the members of the Media Movement (Mediarukh), call to stop the pressure on Suspilne – National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine, to preserve Suspilne’s evening primes in the TV-marathon, to respond to the false statements of MP Bezuhla and to allocate a sufficient budget for the broadcaster for 2025. We also call on democratic countries to increase attention to preserving freedom of speech in Ukraine as a pillar of democracy and Suspilne as a flagship of media reforms in Ukraine,’ the statement says.
The statement notes that a series of informational and institutional attacks on Public Broadcasting took place in the public space over the past week.
‘We believe that the coincidence of these events is not accidental, and we express our strong support for Public Broadcasting, which is an example of one of the most successful reforms implemented after the Revolution of Dignity. This is confirmed by numerous monitoring reports and testimonies of both Ukrainian and international organizations,’ the statement goes.
The Mediarukh concludes that any pressure on editorial policy, financial pressure, and the dissemination of unverified or false information is unacceptable.

This is the second stabilization point established under the Steel Front initiative in cooperation with the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The new facility, funded by Metinvest with an investment of UAH 21 million, is more secure than the first one thanks to its deeper location underground (over 6 meters) and additional fortifications.
Five armored vehicles “Kozak” have received a new mission – thanks to the support of Metinvest, they have been upgraded to full-fledged command and staff vehicles. These upgraded vehicles are now operating on the front line.
