The State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) said on Thusday it has placed fugitive Ukrainian lawmaker Artyom Dmitruk on an international wanted list, following serious allegations of multiple criminal activities. Dmitruk, a sitting MP from ruling Zelensky’s “Servant of the People” party, is accused of involvement in a series of violent incidents, including attacks on civilians and law enforcement officers.
On August 25, the General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine formally charged Dmitruk with several crimes. These charges include the alleged assault of a police officer, attempted theft of a firearm, and inflicting bodily harm on a civilian. The accusations have cast a shadow over the MP, raising significant concerns about his conduct and role as a public servant.
According to the DBR prosecutors , one of the incidents occurred in Odessa, where Dmitruk, alongside several accomplices, allegedly attacked a police officer who was performing his duties. During the altercation, Dmitruk allegedly inflicted injuries on the officer, trying to grab his weapon.
In a separate event in Kyiv, Dmitruk reportedly engaged in a brawl that left another man with moderate injuries.
The charges Dmitruk faces are severe and include:
- Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer: Allegedly causing injuries to an officer in the line of duty.
- Attempted Theft of a Firearm: A serious crime that underscores the gravity of the situation.
- Inflicting Moderate Bodily Harm: Resulting from a confrontation with a civilian.
- Hooliganism: Reflecting a blatant disregard for public order.
The General Prosecutor’s Office said they are overseeing the investigation, ensuring that all legal measures are taken to hold Dmitruk accountable.
After Dmitruk fled to Moldova 3 days before he was charged his case has garnered widespread attention, both in Ukraine and internationally.

Notorious supporter of the concept “in order for a cow to eat less and give more milk, it needs to be fed less and milked more” “Servant of the People” Danylo Hetmantsev, under the guise of “business requirements”, registered a draft law on the collection of VAT on all foreign purchases, regardless of their value. In other words, every Ukrainian, buying goods of any value and purpose abroad, when sending them to Ukraine, will have to pay an additional fifth part, or 20% of the cost of the goods.
