On March 28, Ukrainian-Polish government consultations took place in Warsaw. The delegation from Ukraine was headed by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

‘Ukraine and Poland are strategic allies. We must clearly understand how significant mutual support and the potential of our cooperation are,’ Shmyhal stated.

Denys Shmyhal reported that the government teams discussed a number of issues of mutual interest. In particular, a lot of attention was paid to such topics as the situation at the border and trade in the agricultural sector.

‘We expect specific answers from Poland on the steps we have proposed,’ Ukraine’s PM said.

He emphasized that strategic relations require mutual trust and openness, the ability to dialogue and compromise.
