Ukrainian troops engage North Korean military unit in Kursk for the 1st time – reports

Ukraine’s Armed Forces have launched strikes against North Korean soldiers stationed in Russia’s Kursk region, according to Ukrainian disinformatin expert Andriy Kovalenko.
In his post on Telegram he wrote, “North Korean troops in the Kursk region came under fire”/
Earlier on November 4, President Volodymyr Zelensky met with the country’s top military leaders to discuss the military operations in Kursk and Donbas. The meeting was attended by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, Chief of the General Staff Anatolii Barylevych, and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi.
Commander-in-Chief was laconic: “We will eliminate Russian, North Korean soldiers, and any other forces threatening Ukraine”.
Ukraine’s intelligence agency (GUR) earlier reported that at least 7,000 North Korean soldiers are currently deployed in Kursk and other Russian border areas. They are reportedly armed with 60-mm mortars, AK-12 rifles, heavy machine guns, Phoenix anti-tank missile systems, and RPG-7s.
