On April 11, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in the second reading the draft law on mobilization.

The law was supported by 283 members of the parliament. It will come in force in 30 days after it is signed by president Zelensky.

Before voting, the parliament excluded from the law the norm on de-mobilization. 227 MPs voted for this.

On April 9, the draft law was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada by the Committee on the National Security and Defense after several months of consideration.
