While on the offical visit to the US, Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky hinted that Ukraine is “closer to the peace than we think”.

During an interview with Good Morning America,  the Ukrainian argued that his ‘plan for victory” is all about “strengthening of Ukraine” . He urged Ukraine’s allies to step up and bolster the nation, emphasizing that “it’s very important” for their continued support.

Zelensky aslo spoke about Ukraine’s military operation in Russia’s Kursk region,  which, according to the Ukrainian leader, made Putin “terrified” as it  has revealed a glaring weakness in the Kremlin’s ability to protect its own territory, further shaking Moscow’s already fragile confidence.

Only the position of strength can help Ukraine push Russia toward ending the war, added Zelensky.
