Zelensky appointed new head of intelligence service

President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed the new head of the Foreign Intelligence Service – General Oleh Ivashchenko.
The president noted that in the conditions of the war, the main goal of Ukraine is to destroy the occupiers and strengthen ties with the world.
Zelensky believes that Ukraine’s presence in the world should become global.
The president also defined the tasks for the new head of the Foreign Intelligence Service. They include ensuring the presence of the intelligence in all countries where the interests of Ukraine are present and increasing presence in countries influenced by the Putin system.
On March 26, Zelensky dismissed the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksii Danilov and appointed on this position the former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service.
