Dnipro city authorities close schools and evacuate hospital after Russian attacks

On February 13, Dnipro mayor Borys Filatov announced that part of the city’s educational institutions will be closed and a hospital will be evacuated because of Russian overnigh strikes.

‘Due to the night shelling, we evacuate one of the hospitals, drain the heating system and take out a considerable number of palliative patients. We are also closing schools,’ the mayor wrote.

During the night, the city was attacked with Shahed drones. The attack damaged a thermal power plant in the region. fortunately, the strike did not cause casualties.

The Ukrainian air defense reported that they shot down 16 out of 23 Russian drones during the night attack.
