President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that Ukraine is currently one of the most democratic countries in Europe, despite certain restrictions under martial law.

‘I believe that we are the most democratic country in Europe, one of the most democratic countries in Europe, which proved it not with words, but with force, weapons and with its life,’ Zelensky stated.

According to the president, ‘of course, during the war, there are certain restrictions regarding the mobilization age, men who cannot go abroad, etc.’

‘There is the martial law, there are other restrictions, because it is war. But we want to live in such a country as we have today, only in a peaceful one,’ Zelensky explained.
